Dr. Joel Gould graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1991. He has been practicing dentistry for 17 years.
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Gould has worked with the government of Ontario to provide on-site dental treatment for elementary school children in underserviced areas. While working in Ontario, he established a dental clinic in the town of Emo.
Before moving to southern California, Dr. Gould operated a private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia for ten years.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Gould volunteers at the Children’s Dental Center in Inglewood, CA in his spare time.
He enjoys beach volleyball, running, cycling and snowboarding.
Dr. Nowell Gray strives for excellent treatment on a variety of patients, or is it that he strives for a variety of treatments on excellent patients. Either way, his goal is providing comprehensive cosmetic and general dental care while attempting to take the “dentist” out of dentistry.
Dr. Nowell Gray earned his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Southern California in 2005. Prior to this he received a bachelor’s of science degree in biochemistry from La Sierra University. Before that his life was a whirlwind of pep rallies and prom dates.
While attending dental school, Dr. Gray worked with several dental aid organizations including, the Union Rescue Mission and the Mobile Children’s Clinic. Once graduated, he volunteered for the Children’s Dental Clinic as well as Homeless Not Toothless.
Nowell Gray was born and raised in Riverside, California. He enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and the occasional Wiffle® ball game. His turn-on’s include blond eyes and blue hair, and very short walks on the beach. His turn-off’s are tooth decay, gum disease, and malocclusion. He currently resides in Santa Monica.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Gabe Adorjan was born in Hungary and arrived as an immigrant to the United States with his brother and parents at the age of 12. He had an early natural affinity for computers and anything mechanical. In his early years he worked with his father, a general contractor, building residential homes in the valley. He has an aptitude for creative problem solving and became highly skilled at working with his hands.
Dr. Adorjan received a business degree from CSUN in 2001. After working in the real estate and mortgage industry for a few years and developing a customer service centric business, he decided to follow his heart and his talents and attended UNLV dental school. He chose UNLV for their cutting edge new technology oriented dental school and program.
It was at UNLV that he was finally able to excel in his true talents and combine and hone his skillset of exceptional manual dexterity, computers and technology, and fantastic customer service in the ever evolving world of modern dentistry.
You can find Dr. Gabe either building a new computer, landscaping in his backyard, or hiking and running with his dogs. He has very happily relocated back to his home in the valley, where he lives with his fiancé.
Dr. Laurel Trotter provides a full range of general and cosmetic dentistry. Her primary goal is to make dental treatment as low stress as possible. She spends the time necessary with her patients to explain the treatment process in a way that is easy to understand. Through her gentle nature and gentle touch, she maintains her patients’ comfort as her top priority.
Dr. Trotter received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2009 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She was invited into the honor societies of Tau Kappa Omega, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Beta Phi, and she graduated with high honors among the top 5 in her class. She was awarded 1st place for excellence in removable prosthodontics, and was presented with the Dr. William W.Y. Goon Student Dentistry Award for excellence in endodontics and clinical sciences. Following graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Palo Alto, California. She has spent time since in both private practice, and as a staff dentist for the VA. She maintains membership in the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Trotter enjoys surfing, skiing, hiking with her dog, and travelling. Her wish list of adventures to come includes surfing in Australia, skiing at Whistler, an African safari, and a food and wine tour in Italy.
Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Trotter spent 8 years working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Animal rescue remains her greatest passion. Following Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Trotter volunteered in New Orleans with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in the effort to rescue and provide veterinary care to animals that were abandoned in the flooding. She continues to provide support to Best Friends, as well as other local animal rescue organizations. She has also volunteered with the VA in the Stand Down for Homeless Vets to provide dental care to homeless veterans.
